| Za proizvodnju hrastovih buradi koristimo isključivo hrast kitnjak ( Quercus petreae ). To je najpoznatiji hrast ove vrste, potiče iz francuske oblasti Allier, ali ga ima i na obroncima Karpata. Karakteriše ga intenzivan i prijatan ton na drvo.
Hrastove daske dobijamo na dva načina: cepanjem i testerisanjem hrastovog trupca. Sušenje hrastovih dasaka vršimo isključivo pod prirodnim uslovima, pri čemu se smanjuje sadržaj taninskih materija. Time dobijamo finu aromu sa vanilinskom notom, što je veoma značajno za kvalitet budućeg vina. Spoljnom obradom duge, izbacujemo čvorove, tako da dobijemo kompletno čistu dugu, koja ide na dalju obradu. |
For production of oak barrels, we exclusively use the oak "kitnjak" (Quercus petreae). It is the most famous oak of the kind; originating from French area Allier, but it can also be found on the slopes of Carpates. Its characteristic is intensive and pleasant odour of the tree. The oak boards are produced in two ways: by spliting and by sowing the oak tree trunk. We dry the oak boards exclusively under natural conditions, thus reducing the content of tannin material. In that way we get the refined aroma with vanillin note, which is very significant for the quality of the future wine. Processing the outer "duga" (long boards), we are extraching the knots so that we get a completely neat long board further processed. |
